A police dynasty

New South Wales Police

Ernest Day, a former Mounted Policeman, was appointed Inspector General (19111915). His direct descendents include Tony Day, who was a President of the Police Association of New South Wales, and former Assistant Commissioner Bob Day. Relatives of both these men also served in the NSW Police.
