Police cars arrive

NSW 1915
New South Wales Police

The ?rst motor vehicle was acquired by the NSW Police in 1912. It was a Sunbeam Roadster for the exclusive use of the Inspector General. In 1913 a Douglas motorcycle commenced special traf?c duties and in 1915 a Renault was modi?ed for use as a motorised patrol van.
